# About

Hi, I'm **Furkan Köykıran**, a software developer. I build MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers, tooling for AI agents, trading bots and backend services with Python and TypeScript. I recently graduated, I'm looking for my next role, and one day I want to start my own company.

This blog collects notes from real projects. The main topics:

- **MCP and AI agents:** the MCP servers I've written and what running them in production taught me.
- **Open-source contributions:** the stories behind PRs to large projects.
- **Algorithmic trading with Python:** Freqtrade, Telegram bots and real-time market data.
- **Python backend and DevOps:** FastAPI, Docker, Nginx, GitHub Actions and services that stay up.

I also work on things I haven't written about yet: memory and context systems for coding agents, quantitative analysis and backtesting, Telegram Mini Apps, self-hosting with Cloudflare Workers and Traefik, browser-based strategy simulations and server-side bot detection. Notes from those will show up here over time.

Every post is published in Turkish and English. I run the code in the posts and check the results; when a number or a command changes, I update the post.

All my projects, contributions and contact details are on [my portfolio](https://furkankoykiran.com.tr/en/). Follow new posts through the [RSS feed](/en/feed.xml).
